Sewing teacher

We're launching sewing at Tempo, starting with weekend workshops for kids and teens and growing into regular classes. You'll help us shape it from day one: hand stitching, sewing machine basics, simple patterns and projects students are proud to take home.

What you'll do

  • Plan and lead fun, age-appropriate sewing workshops and classes
  • Teach safe, confident use of needles, scissors and sewing machines
  • Help every student finish a project they're proud of
  • Help shape what the program becomes

Who you are

  • You love working with kids and lead with kindness
  • Confident with hand sewing, machine sewing and simple patterns
  • Patient, organized and great at breaking skills into small steps
  • Teaching experience is a bonus, formal or informal
